| Critical Educational Visions and Practices in Neo-Liberal Times |

|
The book is an outcome of the capacity building programme that IICBA organized for teacher educators in Ethiopia and offers an important challenge to the dominant neo-liberal agenda that has taken over educational reform throughout the world. In addition, the book presents a strong argument that any educational system will have to lie firmly on local grounds, and that international trends must be analyzed strategically as well as critically. The book also discusses issues that the authors consider to be important factors affecting education globally. It explores the potential for altering the role of education to be a more humanistic endeavour moulding solidarity and social justice. Click here to download the book.
